Bob Loblaw is my absolute favorite character name. Ever.
Say it three times and tell me what happens to your mood.

Will historical character do or is this tv/movies only?
Well, I'll presume. Vercingetorix is my favorite character name I think. First one I thought of anyway. I mean - how great is that?
T -- I had to wiki "Vercingetorix," and yes, that's a good one. And it counts.
But it doesn't make me feel as good as saying Bob Loblaw.
Makes me think of Hubby's favorite one, though: Thrakkorzog from The Tick.
You win points for having a real person.
Oh oh oh! I have one! I have several. One of my favorite authors names the ships in the series (sci fi) wonderful names like: I Blame My Mother; Wisdom Like Silence; Lacking That Small Match Temperament (a war ship); and my favorite - "Ravished By The Sheer Implausibility Of That Last Statement"
I only had to say it once and then I burst out laughing.
Kami -- those are GREAT names! I've been reading the wrong books.
Mel -- works every time for me, too.
Can you believe I never said it out loud? I thought is was a pun on Bob LOVE law. yeah, that's not very funny.
Saying it out loud IS funny.
And the books are by Ian M. Banks.
Funny! But it makes me think of grocery stores too. In Toronto there is a chain of groceries called Loblaws and my MIL used to talk about them all the time.
I have no good names to offer. :(
gosh I missed Arrested Development.
I LOVE that show! And Bob Loblaw makes me crack up, too. I don't have a fake name, but my accupuncturist was named Shirley Moore...which reminds Scott and me of the line from airplane...
"Surely you can't be serious?"
"I am serious, and don't call me Shirley."
Too funny. So now, Scott and I always proclaim (instead of "surely") "Shirley Moore!"
Kami -- glad you came back and had a laugh.
Waiting Amy -- I could never get through the grocery store without wetting my pants if I lived in Toronto.
Dunn family -- me too! I might have to break down and buy the boxed set.
Tracy -- Shirley Moore funny names have never existed. Great anecdote!
