It's the sixth outing of Lori's Childhood Trivia. Each day (around 7 am, MDT), I'll put out a new clue about something from the 1970s. One guess per person and no googling.
The subject of this round is a little more obscure. In fact, I had trouble finding information about this choice. But I think that when someone guesses the answer, you'll go, "oh yeah! I remember that/those/them!"
Or maybe not. I've not done a good job in the past predicting the way these rounds will go.
There is an added bonus this time. If you are playing now, or if you have played a previous round, grab the image below and add it to your bloggy bling. You can either copy the image and link to this hyperlink, or get the code here.
If you win, you get upgraded from Player bling to Winner bling. Yippee!
Now, for the first clue. It's an object.
Clue #1: convenience store

good lordessa, you've gone cryptic! I think I need to wait for the next clue on this one.
I'm guessing 7/11 Coke slushies! (okay, it doesn't have to be Coke, they were just my favorite)
I loved these and they are something that I miss since there are no 7/11s in Nova Scotia!
slush puppies?
Highs.
Cumberland Farms.
Fun dip.
It's a chewing gum!
Um...are any guesses close?
wow cryptic is right....I would guess 7-11 or any of those stores but that seems to easy...the next guess would have been slushies...but again obvious...but then again maybe not
No right answers yet, Ladies.
We might actually get to Day 2. Well, if someone doesn't read my mind in the next dozen hours or so.
gum-ball machine?
This is really hard. Circle K?
Hrm. What did I do in/with convenience stores in the 70s?
Shit.
Um.
I have to come up with at least one guess.
That gum. That was 1 cent.
Bazooka Joe.
