Blog-life meets real-life

A few months ago I added the Casual Perfectionist to my Google Reader, and Momma put me on hers. While we don't remember how we originally connected (it had something to do with BlogRush), we eventually discovered that we live within a few miles of each other.

So today we met for the first time, on a beautiful sunny day at a local playground. Tessa, Reed and Claire got along well, and we tired them all out (and they, us. My kids have become tree climbers, and I have become a nail-biter).

My sister, Tami, and her family, showed up, too. It was a lovely afternoon, and we plan to repeat it soon.

I hope Momma can report to her husband that I was neither deranged nor hormonal (in a 14-year old boy kind of way).
