While pulling weeds the other day, I surveyed my landscape and noticed, for the first time, just how many different purple flowers we have.
Most of them, I inherited. But maybe, subconsciously, that's why I insisted on buying this house rather than the one with the fancy kitchen that Roger wanted.
My most prized contribution is the silver-purple rose, which looks pink in the show. I've always wanted a purple rose bush, and last summer I made it happen.

The purple/silver rose IS beautiful. I like the purple chives too. Those look really neat.

I really like purple and yellow pansies, I would love to sit and smell the lavender, is my favorite sent. Great Post I like the video.

I love all the purple! WE bought a purple rose bush...but I killed it. I need to stop touching things in our yard because my husband has a magical green thumb and mine is completely black...
Beautiful flowers! I have a blueish-purpleish thing and have no idea what it is called. I pick out what I like and have no idea what some of my flowers are called! I guess I should save those plastic thingies that come in the pot. I just figure they are all the same - sun, water, Miracle Grow!

Lollipop -- yes, the chives are edible, but not the flower part (as far as I know).

I have a friend who is all about teh purple. You and her would get along famously, methinks.
