Show & Tell: Bonne 400th anniversaire, Québec

I'm in the lovely city of Quebec for a meeting. The fall is stunning, and I was able to take some time for sightseeing. Here are 7 city scenes.

(I particularly like the place to unwind at the end of the day, the Fou Bar.)

Thanks for the slideshow!

I assume you know that Fou de Roy means court jester, but literally it would translate to Crazy Guy of the King.

I seriously wanted to hate Quebec because that's what we Albertans do. But when I went out there about seven years ago, I was wowowowowed by Montreal and was shocked that people were actually kind to me!

I've never been to Quebec City, just Montreal - so beautiful. Did you speak a lot of French?

I was there briefly (like, 6 hours) on business in the middle of February about 15+ years ago. It was freezing cold & I STILL fell in love with the place! I would love to get back there with dh one of these days & spend more time there. (But not in February.)
