But lately I've been seeing red everywhere (the color of the root chakra). It is truly striking.

That close-up of the red leaf is incredible. I love autumn. It must be particular spectacular with the mountains.

What vibrant reds - you have a lovely yard. I always say I love it when the leaves turn and then a few months later it seems I am saying I love it when things get green and budding again . . .

I love the reds of fall! During the cold months I am drawn so much more to red and I found last night that almost all of my winter clothes have red in them somewhere! I guess it warms my mood a bit during the gloomy times. Thanks for a great show and tell. Thos pictures are beautiful!

wow, I love all those red autumnal colours. It's pretty much the only reason that I have a Japanese Maple in the garden!

Beautiful, Lori! Thanks for sharing - we don't get much in the way of reds and oranges up here in the fall, and I miss it from my time living places where there really were fall colours.

Washington, the evergreen state, doesnt lend much in the way of pretty fall colors like other parts of the US but i just LOVE the smell of fall, so i tend to take more walks around this time of year anyway. I should take some pretty pictures, too.
