Or. You'll have a little fun for a couple of minutes.
No one has the answer yet for Round 11, so we'll add another clue. Here are the things we know it is not.
The category is product.
Clue #1: one of the 7 deadly sins
Clue #2:
| C6H8O7(aq) | + | 3NaHCO3(aq) | → | 3H2O(l) | + | 3CO2(g) | + | Na3C6H5O7(aq) |
The rules are simply. Each day, I put out a new clue about something from the 1970s. One guess per person per day and no googling. Especially with this clue!
By entering a guess, you are eligible to grab the image below and add it to your bloggy bling. Get the code here.
If you win, you get upgraded from Player bling to Winner bling (like Andy's). Groovy, man.
Hit me with your best shot.

Is it pop rocks?
This is totally a soda. Fresca!
Tab!
I'm just ripping off Lolly's soda idea.
Oh, and I have no idea what Tab has to do with the 7 deadly sins. For me, this game is all about the random guessing.
Shrinky-Dinks!
Oh, goodness I have NO Idea...Darn it - I was so looking forward to coming over and nailing it...maybe next time.
Is it the old Alka-Seltzer commercial?
Plop, plop,
fizz, fizz,
oh, what a relief it is.
Alka-Seltzer to the reeeescue!
Which might fit in with the deadly sins clue, as you'd need Alka-Seltzer if you ate a ton and had GLUTTON stamped to your forehead.
darn it. I am still clueless. I am losing my childhood trivia mojo. Gotta think more. Will be back....
Man i wish I had the slightest idea...can't wait to see what it is.
Professor Julius Sumner Miller.
Gee, Lori, this stuff is hard!! Or am I just clueless?
OK, that's Sodium carbonate there... One of those make your own volcano projects? How does that relate to a deadly sin? (Scratching head.)
Well, I've already had a glass of wine, so I'll have to try again tomorrow when my brain isn't befuddled by Pinot grigio...
Wait a minute. That's not right. Volcanoes are sodium BIcarbonate. And vinegar, which is acetic acid, which is smaller than whatever second chemical you have going into that reaction.
Look, I'm a biologist, not a chemist, okay???
Hmmmm....something with carbonation? Pop Rocks? Was that a 70s or 80s thing?
