My perfect moment is this moment - recognizing the things that didn't work out the way we had hoped as well as the things that are going well. I'm feeling at peace on LB's 4 month birthday and Ernest's 4 year anniversary of his birth.
Gah! I forgot my perfect moment post. Can it be getting a new container of gel in exchange for the bad one today?

Independence for whom, YOU, or THEM?
OK, isn't that just a BIT ostentatious, rubbing your perfect mothering into the face of your lesser (me)?
I always feel like such a fool when other people's kids are more responsible than mine. Time to get back into a shape-up program for the mothering Olympics. I obviously have a long way to go.
