It was bedtime. Tessa and I had heard Joan Obsorne's One of Us on the radio earlier.
"Mama?" Tessa looked up at me after story time. "I know what G*d looks like."
"You do?" I ask, eminently curious. I mean, she just might remember from the time before she was born.
"Yup! G*d looks like you, Mama."
