Here's a perfect moment from my week. I hope you'll share yours, too.
Just a bath.
Both kids were on playdates. My healthy husband had gone for a run. And I found myself alone in the house on Halloween afternoon.
The housework was done (not all of it, never all of it, but enough to feel deserving of a treat). I gathered a book and a glass of wine, and was limited only by the temperature of the lavender-scented water.
Perfectly indulgent. 'Cause I'm worth it (pardon the mingled slogans).

sounds perfect -- a warm bath with wine and a book. ahhh. you almost can forget all that snow on the ground.
Snow's almost gone. In the 70s today.
I <3 Colorado.
Here's mine:
The evening before bed time... Sitting on my bed with three of my children... watching the snow fall. We open the window to feel the cold air... and they sing Christmas Carols... in October. That was a perfect moment! Especially since one of the singers was a teenager. How perfectly beautiful to have your boy still be excited about singing Christmas Carols.
Glad you got some time for something enjoyable.
Ahhhh... Calgon. Take me away.
That sounds so wonderful! You've inspired me, I'm going to take a bath sometime this week after my son goes to bed.
How perfect...a savoury moment spent in the pursuit of and thought of oneself.
OOoooohhh. That was by far the best Halloween treat! And to think you had wine left over from the snow storm.. perfect!
I'm with Sunny.. gonna bust out my ducky this week, too.
Isn't it funny how something so simple can feel so decadent .. mostly because we rarely take the time for it. Glad you did.
One of my favorite favorite indulgences!
That is so cool, or should I say so nice and Warm!?!
Thank so much for everything. ((HUGS))
With children, those Calgon moments do become fewer.
What a lovely moment!
Well done. That is a fantastic moment. :)
That is a perfect moment for any day of the week.
The snow is almost gone already?!?! Now THAT is a good snow. Here long enough to enjoy and not so long it gets all nasty and dirty and a nusiance.
Ooh, sounds lovely!
Snow? 70's? Hmmm . . . might be worth the trade off. We won't see 70 for at least 5 more months.
The bath sounds WONDERFUL!
I need to fire up my jacuzzi tub that i have never used since we moved in last summer. sounds heavenly.
Sounds wonderful.
Once again, you have inspired me. ;)
A warm bath is the most wonderful thing. Makes me wish we had a bathtub!
Now I have to go get cranking on my novel.
Thanks again for hosting Perfect Moment Monday.
