This is my live-in-the-moment daughter, Tessa. In her new Halloween wig. Several weeks before Halloween.
I give her roots; she gives me wings. Every once in awhile I notice how perfect this is.====================================

We all need someone to give us wings... and roots, too, come to think of it. I love your Tessa stories.

I don't know what I like best - the purple wig or your comment about how you give Tessa roots and she gives you wings. It makes me laugh and cry at the same time!

To be a kid again. Lovely moment.I still have an Elvira wig. That thing got a lot of use later on at theme parties.
Don't you wish that we could all hold on to that completely unrestrained spirit of self-expression that kids have? Love it!
You can just tell from the picture how much she loves that purple hair! I bet she will always remember it.
That is some great hair! Is there a costume that goes with it, or is it just going to be about the hair?
When I was pregnant, my neighbor told me that all I had to do was give my child roots and wings and everything would work out great. I'm trying my best...
